Rich Port

Puerto Rico, the small island that gave birth to Bad Bunny, Anuell AA, Ozuna, Daddy Yankee, and Don Omar. The literal English translation for this country is Rich Port and it does not disappoint with the amount of money these reggaetoneros make. But there is more to Puerto Rican life than being sad listening to "La Cancion" or listening to "4k" in the afternoon.
While small in size, Puerto Rico is an island with a history that would take too long to go into too much detail but somethings you might need to know about Puerto Rico. First, it has been a part of Spain but it is now considered an American Territory, where the people receive aid from the U.S. if there is a natural disaster. Since there is a large influence by the United States government in Puerto Rico, much of the island's population speaks both English and Spanish, allowing for easier communication if someone from the U.S. were to take a honeymoon or family trip down to the Island. Since the U.S. controls Puerto Rico, U.S. citizens are not required to have a passport if they wish to travel to the Island, which makes the vacations much easier.
But, true beauty shows itself with the island's cultural and natural features scattered across the Island. One of the most popular attractions of the country is the city of Old San Juan, in which the architecture represents the Spanish and Puerto Rican mixture throughout the years since the country was created. While Old San Juan might just seem like a city to some, to others it serves as an epicenter of history that dates back to the Spanish inquisition, with the tomb of Senor Ponce de Leon himself found in the cities borders.
I know the city life might not be ideal to many, especially me, but there are natural beauties scattered across the borders. Apart from its lush beaches and coast, there are National Parks, such as El Yunque, which have been preserved to the fullest extent, allowing for the lush jungles and animals to flourish in their natural environments.
The most unique thing about this country is the mixture of Caribbean culture, Spanish influence, and American influence to make up what we know today as Puerto Rico. The bright colors and rich architecture show the development of both the Caribbean and Spanish aspects of the country, while the American aspects are seen with the connectivity to the outside world, whether it is due to tourism, cruise ships, or vacations.
Puerto Rico is most known for its artists and the music that comes from the island. Usually seen as a Caribbean form of rap, reggaeton has become one of the most popular known genres of music around the world, with the island's artists being heard in Spanish speaking countries and English speaking countries. The most widely known artist from Puerto Rico is Bad Bunny, with his songs being heard in both Puerto Rico and the U.S., he has become one of the most famous reggaetoneros of today.
